I have been blessed with many good friends (online and “real”).Β He goes by an online persona of Mr. Angellis and is one of my closest friends. He’s funny and he takes time to listen (or read, as how it is with chatting online), and he’s welcomed me into his soon to be little family of three π
Angellis requested a drawing, and because I made myself his soon to arrive baby’s over the seas god-mother, I created this piece:
Material: Daler Rowney simplyβ’ Watercolour acid free paper (190 g/mΒ²); watercolour brush markers, Sakura coloured gel pens (various) and something called “poster colours” by Buncho.
Dimensions: 23 x 30.5 cm
Work in progress:
Finished piece:
The impression is, I’m hovering over a sea of stars and the mandala has emerged from the depths and rising towards me – leaving concentric waves in its wake.

A stunning piece of work, Shree. I get the feeling of waves being pushed back. The shading is wonderful.
