A late start for the New Year…

but better late than never, it’s been said 🙂

As 2017 unfolded and moved speedily along, it has already been a full three months (well, an addition few days more) since my last post. All I can say is that sometimes, good intentions need to come with a lot of discipline, focus and balance…which are some things that I am trying really hard to do! On a happy note though, I do have a few pieces that I’d like to share with you all, and I do hope you enjoy them 🙂

The below piece I did as a gift for a friend…the idea coming from my sister. She said…”Passion and creativity for Rubini!” And this was created…

This was created using soft pastels in the style of Nagomi Pastel Art, by first laying down the background colour and then, using templates created by drawing and cutting out simple shapes, erasing or “polishing” the colour out.

Hope you enjoy it 🙂

    1. Hehe! You’re most welcome!! Would love to see your pastel art, when you have the time to do so. And best part…you use your fingers to blend! It’s like being a kid again…finger painting!
